Margrethe Frich is a 21-year-old songwriter and artist from Oslo, already making waves under her artist name “May". Known for honest lyrics and catchy melodies, Frich graduated from the LIMPI songwriting school, founded by Stargate, where she was mentored by Emily Warren and Stargate, amongst others.
Margrethe's songwriting has led to collaborations with some of Scandinavias biggest artists, including Emma Steinbakken, Arif, Stig Brenner, Chris Holsten, and Beathoven. Internationally she has written singles for kpop group Cignature and Eurovision finalist Alessandra.
January 2025 marked a significant milestone for her solo career when Sony Music signed her, and NRK P3 named her "Artist of the Month," spotlighting her artist project “May". With a foundation built on authenticity, versatility, and a deep understanding of pop songwriting, Margrethe Frich stands out as one of Norway's most promising young artists and songwriters.
